Dr. Breiner is one of the most reputable podiatrists in the Northern Virginia area. He has been practicing in this region for more than 25 years. Dr. Breiner only recommends surgery when it is absolutely necessary and strongly feels that the procedure should be minimally painful for the patient. In addition to Dr. Robert Breiner, DPM, our practice now has two other full-time doctors, Dick Okino, DPM and Philip Gaspar, DPM.

Dr. Breiner treats all types of foot and ankle structural disorders. During your consultation, he will perform a detailed assessment of your problem, describe his findings clearly and suggest a treatment and recovery plan that is customized to your specific needs. He will present all your options in a clear and comprehensible manner so that you are able to participate equally in the decision making. Dr. Philip Gaspar earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, in College Station, TX, where he spent most of his childhood.  He obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Midwestern University-Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Gaspar attended residency at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, where he treated Veterans in Montgomery and Tuskegee, as well as Active Duty patients at Maxwell Air Force Base. During the program, he gained exposure to a variety of podiatric pathology, ranging from diabetic foot care and wound care, to biomechanics and sports medicine.

Dr. Gaspar joined Dr. Breiner’s practice in June 2017, where he specializes in Diabetic & Geriatric Foot Care. He enjoys treating all types of patients, especially seniors, as well as patients with physical and mental disabilities, and finds his profession extremely rewarding. Dr. Gaspar’s family ties also happen to be in the Maryland-Virginia area.

Outside of podiatry, Dr. Gaspar enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures and cuisine of various countries. He has been to France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, India, Japan, and Canada, among many others. He has great interest in music and plays the piano.
